Back to school tips


School starts tommorow, so I decided to share with you a few tips which I'm personally using and I hope that they will be useful to you too.

Sutra počinje škola i odlučila sam s vama podijeliti par savjeta kojih se ja osobno pridržavam, pa se nadam da će i vama biti od koristi.

1. Get enough sleep
Spavajte dovoljno

For me it is very important to get enough of sleep, especially when I'm in the school in the morning. Because of that, every day of a school week and on weekends I go to sleep at 11pm. Enough sleep will help you to concentrate easier and you'll have more energy. Furthermore, it is important to get at least 8 hours of sleep.

Za mene je jako važno da se naspavam, pogotovo kad sam jutarnja smjena. Zato svaki dan za vrijeme trajanja škole, a i za vikende idem spavati u 23h. Dovoljno sna će vam pomoći da se lakše koncentrirate i imati ćete više energije. Osim toga, iznimno je važno spavati barem 8 sati.

2. Plan
Planirajte

When it comes to school I'm very organized! I have a planner which I've made myself and I've adjusted it to my needs and I've shown it to you in this post. In it I write dates of my tests and other assignments I get or some things I must not forget. When you make a good plan, you'll have more time for other things beside school.

Što se tiče škole, tu sam jako organizirana! Imam planer koji sam napravila sama i prilagodila ga sebi, a pokazala sam ga u ovom postu. U njega zapisujem datume testova i ostale zadatke koje dobijem ili neke stvari koje ne smijem zaboraviti. Što si bolje isplanirate vrijeme, imati ćete više vremena i za ostale stvari osim škole.

3. Oral exams
Odgovaranje

I like to do oral exams as soon as I can. That means that I will not have to learn that subject untill a test or the next oral exam. Also, it is a great opportunity to get a better grade when there is less material to study.

Neke predmete volim odgovarati čim se pruži mogućnost. To znači da onda taj predmet neću morati učiti do testa ili sljedećeg odgovaranja. Ujedno je to i prilika za dobru ocjenu jer ima manje gradiva.

4. Start learning for test on time
Krenite učiti za testove na vrijeme

Like I already mentioned, in my planner I write test dates. If you know that you need more time to learn for a test, star learning on time in smaller parts. That means less stress and anxiety. Start slowly and you'll be prepared on time.

Kao što sam već napisala, u svoj planer zapisujem datume testova. Ako znate da vam za neki test treba više vremena da naučite, krenite učiti ranije u manjim dijelovima. To znači manje stresa i nervoze. Krenete polagano i biti ćete spremni na vrijeme.

5. Pay attention in class
Slušajte na satu

Careful listening will reduce the time of learning because you will already know something!

Pažljivo slušanje će vam smanjiti vrijeme učenja jer ćete nešto već znati! 

6. If you don't understand, ask
Ako ne razumijete, pitajte

Whenever you don't understand something, ask your professor to explain it to you. Professors will be happy to answer your question and by asking you'll show that you listen and follow the class.

Uvijek kada vam nešto nije jasno, pitajte profesora da vam se pojasni. Profesori će vam rado odgovoriti na pitanje i to će pokazati da slušate i pratite na satu.
